Every candle, wax melt and pillar we make is hand-poured with care in small batches in our studio. We use traditional techniques and modern technology to create products that are both beautiful and functional. Our experienced candle maker takes pride in every candle they produce, and we're confident that you'll be able to see and smell the difference.

Meet the Owner
Hi, I’m Natalie — the proud owner of Sykes Candle Company.
I’ve been making candles, pillars, and wax melts for over 18 months now, and I absolutely love it. What started as a small project in my kitchen has grown into a thriving business — so much so that six months ago, I moved into my very own workshop.
Before starting my business, I worked in a high-stress job that kept me away from home and my family for long hours, sometimes days. Even when I was physically home, I was always “working” — answering emails, taking calls, and dealing with constant demands. One day, I realised how much I was missing out on — especially with my beautiful little boy, who has Hemiplegia (cerebral palsy) and requires regular hospital appointments. I was never truly available for him, and that realisation hit hard.
Thankfully, I have an incredibly supportive husband who encouraged me to make a change. After 19 years of giving everything to a company, I knew it was time to focus on what really mattered. I handed in my notice and took some time off to reset. During that break, I started researching home-based businesses and gift-making — and the idea for Sykes Candle Company was born.
Now, 18 months later, here I am — doing what I love and finally being present for my family. Thank you so much for visiting my page and supporting my small business. It truly means the world to me.
